Welcome! You are registering for the in person December What’s Going On? The topic is Where Do We Go from Here? Election Outcomes, Finals, Holiday Stress, and the New Year Join us as we reflect on the past, continue to process and develop coping strategies for the present, and share fears and hopes for the future. What’s Going On? is a monthly event with presentations and discussions on rotating mental health topics. Students have the opportunity to share their experiences on a range of topics focusing on Black Mental Health and Wellness. Often, the workshop is held virtually but this December we are holding it in person! What’s Going On? is a collaborative effort facilitated this month by the Black Cultural Center (BCC) – Dr. Jeremiah Abiade, Interim Director and the Counseling Center - Dr. Belva A. Miles, Staff Psychologist The event will be held in person at the Black Cultural Center, 830 S. Halsted St, Addams Hall Room 200 This month’s What’s Going On? session will occur on Friday December 6th, 2024, from 10:00-11:00AM
